Elizabeth Liz Johnson – 2022 and 2020 Democratic Nominee for U. S. House of Representatives in GA-12, Inspirational Speaker, Leadership/Level Up Coach, Creator and Host of This Liz Talks and When Every Woman Wins. Liz is also an event emcee/host, panel moderator, featured panelist, retired insurance professional, and above all else, Liz is a wife, mother, and grandmother. 

In 2012, Liz was elected by her Democratic Party of Georgia (DPG) State Committee peers to serve as one of six DNC members from Georgia after serving on the DPG Executive Committee as 12th Congressional District Chair. As a woman in politics, Liz has appeared on General Election ballots in Georgia as the Democratic Nominee at the county, state and statewide levels and twice at the federal level as a Democratic nominee in Georgia. 

In 2014, Elizabeth Liz Johnson became one of few women and even fewer Black women nominees for statewide executive office in Georgia. That same election year, Liz shared the political stage with four Black women still referred to today as the “Georgia Five.” Georgia Five made national political history in 2014 as the largest number of Black women to ever appear together on a general election ballot in one state for various statewide executive offices.
